[H]ard|OCP releases id’s official Doom 3 benchmarks
Over on [H]ard|OCP, they just released an article describing id Software’s official benchmarks they performed on Doom 3. There are some surprising results, with the NVidia cards outperforming ATI’s latest by a solid margin. Also surprising is that the experience will still be quite good on lower hardware, even GeForce 3 cards. You can read the whole article here.

GPF Comic takes “Queer Eye For the Straight Guy” and adds a techie slant
Over on GPF Comics, they recently took the “Queer Eye For the Straight Guy” reality show idea and applied it to Techie vs. Luddite culture in Geek Eye for the Luddite Guy. A pretty funny piece which you can check out here.
